Empowering Youth
to Shape Their Economic Futures

Our Educational Solution

Our mission at is to break these cycles by delivering high-quality, scalable life skills and financial education. We empower students to make informed financial decisions and advocate for their own economic mobility. Through practical instruction in personal budgeting, debt management and social entrepreneurship, UnderstandThis ensures young people are prepared to navigate life independently.

The Cycle of Poverty

Millions of children lack the foundational knowledge required to actively and safely participate in their local economies. Without early intervention, weak education systems and limited employment opportunities perpetuate generational cycles of hardship.

• The Global Challenge

Why Financial Literacy Cannot Wait

Global studies consistently demonstrate a severe lack of basic financial understanding. This deficit directly impacts long-term economic stability and social mobility worldwide.

67% Financially Illiterate

Approximately 3.5 billion adults worldwide lack an understanding of fundamental financial concepts like compound interest and risk diversification.

The Generational Gap

Gen Z adults currently answer only 38% of basic personal finance questions correctly on average.

Persistent Gender Inequality

A five-point global gender gap in financial literacy continues to leave women disproportionately vulnerable to economic exclusion and debt.

Expanding Reach, Local Change

Our collaborative partnership model allows us to distribute our educational resources effectively to combat this crisis. By working closely with community organizations and regional governments, we ensure our curricula are culturally relevant and fit the specific contexts of every classroom.

Evidence-Based Curricula for Every Stage of Development

UnderstandThis manages educational frameworks based on four core developmental stages. These are currently adapted into five languages. By prioritizing experiential learning, our network directly reached 45,000 children through 18 community partners last year. An additional 80,000 students accessed our materials across 120 regional public schools.
